Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana has been launched by the Central Government. Through this scheme, health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh is provided to families living below the poverty line. 14th August Update:- Families with annual income up to Rs 3 lakh will also get the benefit of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has given a big gift to the people of Haryana before August 15. Chief Minister Khattar has announced that the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme will now be extended to families with annual income ranging from Rs 1,80,000 to Rs 3,00,000. And said that from August 15, the portal will be opened for making cards under this scheme. Till now 30 lakh families of Haryana were taking benefit of this scheme but now 8 lakh families will be linked to this scheme. That means, now 38 lakh people of Haryana will get the benefit of this scheme. Now even those people whose annual income is Rs 3 lakh can avail the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, they will also get the opportunity to get free treatment. After this announcement, Haryana has become the first state in the country to do so.
